  • Even on a rainy day the dining experience was well worth it. On our last day in Vancouver, we decided to have lunch at the Teahouse in Stanley Park. We are so glad we ate here. Their special of the day was Sable fish which was fresh and tender. The seared tuna was also excellent. Ask your server about their specials. The soup special was perfect for a rainy day and just what the doctor ordered. They even served us a complimentary amuse bouche arranged by our hotel concierge. - by Culas on Tripadvisor

  • Fantastic summer evening. My wife and I dined here during a recent visit to Vancouver. It was a warm summer evening and we were going to go somewhere else to dine, but ended up at The Teahouse. No reservations but we arrived at 8 in the evening and got seating outside. The tables are small for two but the setting is fantastic. Heaters are nicely spaced around the tables to take off the chill. My wife and I used to go to Stanley Park frequently when we were teenagers dating, so this was special for us. We had casual food, pasta and pizza. It was very good - a little pricey but that is what you expect here. The inside seating seemed to be for larger groups. Service was attentive but not overly so, just right. I would recommend a reservation if you wish to be seated during a busy time. After dinner, take a walk along the seawall a short ways or a long ways to second or third beach if you like. You should go, this will make your trip to Vancouver memorable. Parking is somewhat limited but there are pay parking lots everywhere. - by LethbridgeProf on Tripadvisor

  • I had my wedding reception here on October 6th, and still have guests e-mailing, calling, and texting me a week later about how fantastic it was. Like any wedding day there were some bumps along the way - such as the people who were supposed to help with setting up for the reception getting there an hour late, and as a result, the reception starting late. I was apologizing to the restaurant staff assigned to our group, all of which who were generously offering me a glass of wine ;), and they were so gracious with us and calmed me down, saying "You have NOTHING to apologize for. this is your day. It starts when it starts." Our guests, and myself, were FLOORED by how gorgeous the Conservatory was. We watched the sun go down over the water while we listened to some jazz, and sipped wine. Our first course was the carrot soup with coriander creme fraiche. Everyone went nuts over it and demolished it. It was *fantastic*. We had also picked three entrees for our guests to choose from. We picked AAA filet mignon in a rosemary red wine reduction, Lemon Tarragon chicken, and Wild Mushroom Ravioli. The servers came around and took everyone's individual orders, which I was a bit nervous about. I kept thinking "Oh gosh this is going to take ages!" But no. It took no time at all and our main course was out. And... Oh. My. Goodness. I can say that this is one of the best meals I had ever experienced. We were all sharing bites and raving over how delicious our food was. My steak was cooked *perfectly* and the reduction was unbelievably delicious. It was served with fingerling potatoes and seasonal vegetables - both of which were also cooked perfectly al dente, and not cooked to the point of mushiness. The wild mushroom ravioli was phenomenal. PHENOMENAL. The guests who had ordered the steak were all jealous of how good the ravioli was. That is saying something. Finally we finished with a delicious fresh scraped vanilla bean creme brulee, with fresh fruit. A lot of our guests had apparently never had creme brulee before, and were raving for days about how amazing it was. I watched a couple people eat two or three of them, all the while thinking they were so sneaky. tut tut.. But what I can't say Enough about is the staff. They were..Amazing. We had a server named Mariah who made every stress of my wedding day fade away, who provided us with the most incredible, friendly, and all the while professional service. She felt like family and by the end of the night I knew I couldn't leave without giving her a hug and saying thank you. And all the while leading up to my wedding day I was organizing and planning with a lady named Frankie. She was also just wonderful. So very well organized, so responsive and attentive and accomodating. The type of planners who help take the stress *off* of you instead of piling more stress on you. I sincerely can't say enough about how wonderful the Teahouse is. We want to go back as often as we can for brunch and date nights, and hopefully will run into the darling Mariah yet again! - by Eryn P. on Yelp

  • Lovely - a real gem Absolutely lovely. A lucky tip from a local. The food is great, the setting superb and the staff very friendly. We went just before sunset - which was a beautiful bonus. The cheese board and the sable fish were delicious. We got a taxi back to their sister venue, Cardero's on the waterfront at Coal Harbour and had a drink listening to the guitarist - very nice. - by Margaret T on Tripadvisor
